Jennifer Eckerman trained at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., one of the most highly rated Physician Assistant programs in the country. She graduated in 2003 with double masters degrees in physician assistant studies and public health. This rigorous program included 2 years of classroom study and one year in supervised clinical rotations with medical students from the Washington, D. C. area medical schools. Prior to her physician assistant education, Mrs. Eckerman attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. She maintains and expands her medical education by attending conferences, continuing medical education lectures and reading journals with the most current urological studies. Mrs. Eckerman is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Central Coast Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and American Urologic Association.
